i can't believe it
i am crazy about leonard cohen and this is one of my favorite songs of his. it played over the opening credit sequence in McCabe and Mrs. Miller, one of my favorite films. anyway - unbelievable how many cool people are posting artifacts on youtube.

Man, you just don't see music on TV like that any more. (Austin City Limits is an exception.) It's a great performance, but it's also a great recording. I'd buy a live album that sounded that good, but the average band on Conan, or SNL or whatever never sounds good.
BTW, do you know what show this is?
there's a title superimposed at the bottom of the screen for just a few seconds that reads "once more with felix 1967". uh...i have no idea but i'm sure i could look into it a bit more.
